It also was better the second time around The problem is just too many flashbacks. If some of those scenes were not replayed so often, or a few of the many twists eliminated, it would have been a super movie. It still was fascinating in parts. It grabs you, and you can't stop watching to see what the real story is. Along the way, is a bunch of nice colors and some nice film noir-type in the beginning and then during the ending credits.

豆瓣电影影评：我其实是想给芳邻疑案4颗星的，但是稍微回味了一会儿，觉得它不值，还是三星半吧。其实，我一向对美国剧情片非常宽容，甚至可以大言不惭的说，在国内和国际制作水平差距极大的情况下，我就是“双标”——都不在一个起跑线上，根本没法比呀。所以经常出现国外影片堪堪尚可，我却只给三星及格，美国剧情片只是稍微拍出了一点点好看，我就会给三星及以上，如果演员演技爆炸或者剧本极佳，我也不会吝啬我的5星，但是如果按照给国外影片打分的标准，这些美国剧情片可能通通都只能有三四颗星以下。
